Pocket Data

pocket.Data is the suite of tools collect, clean unify and maintain your marketing data. We have the following suite of tools.

Data sources

Data sources are the way you can send data to pocket CDP, you can now collect data using our SDKs for frontend, backend (node), API and more are coming soon.

Standard libraries (automatic data source setup)

In most of the cases, you can avoid having to do a setup of your data source just by using one of our integrations, these integrations take care of the heavy lifting of triggering the events, mapping your data and sending it to pocketCDP, both for frontend and backend tracking.

Events

Events are the way you can track user interactions with your app or website. Any source can emmit events, and all gets stored in the same place.

We have a set of default events to have you up and running in a few clicks, but you are not limited to those, creating new events and defining their format is easy.

User properties

User properties are the way you can store information about your users, like their email, name, or any other information you want to store.

There is a set of standard user properties, but you can extend them with custom user properties.

There are 3 types of custom user properties.

Static user properties,

They are defined by seting upthe data type and name, the value is stored on the user by filling it in identify events.

Computed user properties,

They are defined using a formula (or one of our standard formulas) to calculate the value, and can be used to leverage any logic you can think of using any event, user property or context.

AI user properties

They are defined by setting up the AI input and context, and ID. AI generates a value for them personalized for each user (only new values). You will review those values before they can be used in automation or personalization for the user, so you keep the control.
