What are pocketCDP actions

Actions are the building blocks of jouneys in pocketCDP. You can see them as each type of automation you can execute within a marketing automation journey.

We see many marketing automation tools storing separate databases removing the capacity of companies to have a centralized source of truth, actions are our solution to that problem.

How actions work

Actions are meant to guarantee the quality of the pocketCDP data. This means, that every action should send back the outcome of that action back to pocketCDP to be approved into the marketplace, so you have always a source of truth within your data.

We have two types of actions, flow actions, such as filtering, delays, custom text, and tool actions such as sending an email, a Zapier webhook or any custom action you can install.

Installing an action.

Installing an action requires to go to the marketplace and select the action you want to install. Then you can configure the action and then it will be avaliable to select and use within your journeys.
